View video1. Preparing the surface
The surface must be smooth, clean and dry. You can use a damp cloth to ensure no dust remains on the wall. Ensure that no residue is on the wall, such as drips of dry paint and be sure to well sand any imperfections as they may show through the vinyl. It is important to wait at least 2 weeks after the wall has been painted before installing your mural.
2. Preparing your installation
It is recommended to have two people for the installation.
Visualize where you want to install your decal by placing it on the wall with some masking tape.
3. Peel the top
When satisfied with the decal’s location, peel off 2 inches at the top of the decal and cut the backing paper. Apply this section to the wall by pressing it lightly with your fingers. When the top of the decal has been applied to the wall, you can remove the masking tape.
4. Take off the backing
Peel slowly the rest of the backing paper while pressing the decal on the wall so that it may stick to the wall.
5. Bubbles
Once all the panels are installed, you can cut away any excess vinyl with your exacto style knife.
